30 isn’t really that big of a number, is it? I mean, it’s really only 5 years older than 25. But let’s face it, it’s ten short years away from 40. Now I’m starting to panic a little bit. Age is just a number, right?
My dad recently turned 60, and he posed this question to me: What age would you be if you didn’t know what age you are? It’s a good question. You should think about it. If you had no idea when you were born and were basing your age solely on how you felt, what number would that be? I guess it’s a different way to phrase ‘you’re only as old as you feel’….and I certainly don’t feel 30. I’m gonna go with 26. So, Happy 26th Birthday to me, and may everyone have a lovely September!

Most days I feel like I'm still 21 until I look in the mirror that is...but there are days when I'm watching an old Audrey Hepburn movie or giving advice to someone twice my age that makes me feel like I'm 60.
Age is just a number-my grandmother who is in her 80's was talking to me about her '1st born' as if it was yesterday-we are all just in an aging body-same mind-sets. So, have a great 20+10 birthday & know that it doesn't change who ya are! And the next time someone asks you how old you are, say 45, then you're sure to get compliments no matter what! ;)
Age is only a measurement of expiration. Milestones and attained goals are what measure prosperity.
When I was 35 I framed artwork in the ChValley by 40 ProdCoor framer pushing out 100+ units a day @ 45 semi-retired but still have friends that bring me stuff to frame (like when I was 30)
Prosperity moves in circles...
Age in a straight line...
Get dizzy everyone!
Happy Bday Tracy
@Barb-in another few years when you're approaching the big 30, we'll sit down and I'll feel wise and tell you the same thing you just told me. Wisdom of the ages and all that.
@Paul--STL? Chesterfield Valley? That's my neck of the woods! Home, sweet home! Were you my manager at Michaels in the Valley, by any chance? Because wow, what a small world!!! I'm glad that life has treated you well, and your advice is great. Thanks!
